HOMICIDE charges DISMISSED

Client was charged with Homicide for allegedly poisoning and intentionally killing his wife by secretly placing a toxic amount of crushed-up medications in her food. Client was held without bail. The Shaw Group believed the police unconstitutionally entered his home without probable cause, unlawfully seized and searched his electronics due to an overbroad warrant lacking probable cause and coerced a false confession.

Client was charged with 4 felony counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, felony Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance, 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. Following his preliminary hearing, plea guilty to 1 count of PWID for time served. 7 counts were dismissed.

ARD for Felony Burglary

Client was charged with F2 Burglary, F2 Solicitation to Commit Burglary, F3 Theft and summary Criminal Mischief. The Commonwealth claimed the client stole items from a storage shed. The Shaw Group secured an ARD (Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition) outcome. If client successfully completes his supervision, he is eligible for a complete dismissal of the charges and an expungement from his record.

Client charged with F1 Burglary and Conspiracy, M1 Theft, M2 Criminal Mischief, and M3 Disorderly Conduct as a result of a claim he and others broke into a home and stole items.
