Client was in an alleged DUI accident with multiple victims, including a child. Client was originally charged with a total of 39 charges including Felony Aggravated Assault While DUI, Homicide by Vehicle While DUI, Homicide by Vehicle, Involuntary Manslaughter and Recklessly Endangering. The Client elected to challenge her charges. Halfway through the trial, after the Shaw Law Group’s vigorous cross-examination of the Commonwealth witnesses, the Commonwealth compromised their original case and offered client a plea to only 2 counts of Homicide by Vehicle While DUI, Aggravated Assault by Vehicle DUI and summaries. Client was sentenced to only 3 years. 34 counts dismissed.
